Former Benedictian abbey founded by prince Vladislav I in 1115. He was buried in the Virgin Mary's Cathedral in 1125. At the beginning of the 18th century J. B. Santini took part in the restoration design of the cathedral. Later K. I. Dientzhofer took part in the construction of convent. It is interesting that the convent itself is separated from the buildings of the front court.
