Castle Litice [ Castle or ruin of castle ]
Founded at the end of the 13th century by the Drslavic family, the castle changed hands regularly, and under Jiří (George) of Poděbrady underwent significant reconstruction.
In the mid-16th century, it was the centre of a demense of the Lord of Buben.
Later the castle fell into disrepair, and in 1652 was half ruined.
Today, the extensive castle precinct has been completely restored, and present exhibitions both of the castle´s history and of 15th-17th century ceramics, as well as a tower with wide views.
