The chateau was built by Oldřich Krajíř of Krajek at the end of the 16th century.
After his death the castle the owners of the chateau then often changed.
At the biginning of the 18th century the chateau was burned down and then it was renovated in a baroque style.
The baroque modifications however, were changed into an Empire style at the beginning of the 19th century.
